Mind the gap

I'm on the way to work on the train. Four reasons:

The Royal Highland Show is on, so the bus will be particularly slow due to the volume of traffic.

I slept in pretty late, which wasn't at all bad. Bus would be even slower.

Bike number one needs the front brake replaced - despite the part being just two weeks old.

Bike number two needs a lost of things done.

There's a gap between what I'd like to happen and the reality.

Which challenges my thinking on what reality I'm plugged into. The reality I want to walk is the light of the sacrifice that brought me from darkness. Freed me from shame. The reality of a life of love that changes the way my senses work.
