Schools Out ......

.......for summer.

Today was end of term. Yeah.

I love it when we get to the school holidays. No routine for a whole six weeks. As we are waiting to start a small extension / kitchen installation we are not going away during the summer so absolutely no plans. It's a good feeling.

Traditionally, for end of term, we meet with my friend and her son for lunch. Sometimes her daughter also comes and husbands if they are around. We had a long leisurely lunch with a cool glass, or two, of wine. Very civilised start to the holiday.

One of our friends dropped by with her daughter. Although I took photos of our own kids, how could they compete with a cute toddler like this.
