Cathedral Rock

Up at 4:30 this morning to catch the early magical light. This view of Cathedral Rock was taken at 6:15 am from our balcony at the Penrose B&B in Sedona Arizona . The various colors in the rock strata were accumulated over the past 200 Million Years. The layers have all been identified and named and present a history of the Earch - at least in this area.
