UCLA Royce Hall

During a break in my presentations at UCLA today, I was able to take a walk around the beautiful campus surrounding the Fowler Museum. Although I grew up in the LA area before moving to San Luis Obispo, CA, I never had the opportunity to visit the UCLA campus. It's brick facades and wide open plazas were an unexpected oasis in the midst of busy West Los Angeles.

Pictured here is the famous Royce Hall which was built in the Italian Romanesque style and completed in 1929. It is one of the four original buildings on UCLA's Westwood campus and has come to be the iconic image of the university.
