Douglas Dakota.

Technically this is a C47, but I like to think of it as a Douglas Dakota, shot it into the sun this evening here at Lubbock Airport, outside the old terminal, which is now the Silent Wings Museum, it shows the history of military gliders in the second world war. You may know the civiilian version of the aircraft as a DC3.

It's 110 degrees today, so that sun you see in this shot, is proving to be mighty effective.

New personal record for heat too.
