Fennel Forest

Taken from inside a clump of fennel.

A chilly breeze today, but still no more snow on the mountains.

For the first time this season an angry looking greenfinch checked out the bird feeders and sampled the grain. Will he bring his family and associates? I've been expecting them for weeks. They are the most belligerent of the birds that visit my garden.
