Bloomin' budliea

The budliea is in bloom, the bindweed is well on it's way to being obliterated so our garden looks like a cross between something rather nice and something not quite so nice. It is amazing, though, how much space there is now that the bindweed has been shrivelled.

Lazy Sunday in the sun. Bright, cloudless blue sky but I thought this b/w of the budliea with light shining through the leaves looked kind of interesting. I had my head tipped right back and at one point I thought I was going to topple backwards.
