The apostrophe atrocity

I dropped off the second of my goodbye cakes to my other school.
I wasn't working there today but wanted everyone to enjoy the cake whilst it's fresh.

The thing that's been upsetting me is the lack of apostrophe in 'let's'.

aaaaargh! Costco, curse you!!

I was so tempted to open the wrapper and add the ' but then I didn't have any icing that colour.

Then I thought I could use a felt tip pen to put one in, but maybe not. What if someone got poisoned from my OCDness to have an apostrophe?

Some parting gift that would be!

It's a skill to know when to let something go.


I'm not there yet.
