Summer sky

After the gloom and rain of yesterday, this is the wonderfully delicate sunset sky over Argyll this evening, at exactly 10pm. It's not warm - 11ºC - although the midges are appallingly active, but the light in the sky makes up for these disadvantages. This photo looks to the west, slightly south of where the sun vanishes at this time of year.
