Gritty realism?

Whilst at Swansea I took a quick walk down to the beach and thought I'd try to get a 'Bodeny' 'Country Living' pretend lifestyle type pic for stock. But it was windy and I gave up after 5 minutes because my camera was in grave danger of getting sand blasted - and I hate that graunching sound a single piece of sand can cause on a delicate piece of Japanese consumer hardware.
