The Plasma Cutter

One of my friends highly encouraged me to get up early to go to her sculpture class today. It was hard getting up, but wow was it worth it! I got to see so many cool things. My favorite parts of the morning include the molten aluminum (pictures here and here) and the plasma cutter.

Amazingly, they didn't seem mind at all that I was there taking pictures as long as I was wearing proper eye and/or ear protection...they even told me to come back some time! I think they were excited I was there because they wanted to use some of my pictures for their website...
