Four ears, two eyes, one tail...

Side by Side

Written by Harry MacGregor Woods

Oh! we ain't got a barrel of money
Maybe we're ragged and funny
But well travel along
Singing a song
Side by side

I don't know whats a-comin tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel the road
Sharing our load
Side by side

Thru all kinds of weather
What if the sky should fall
Just as long as we're together
It really doesn't matter at all

When they've all had their quarrels and parted
We'll be the same as we started
Just traveling along
Singing a song
Side by side

(repeat last two verses)

Patsy Cline, Side by Side

Much to do today to pack for our three weeks in Maine. We had a great evening with my niece and her boyfriend last night. They came for dinner to celebrate her 26th birthday today and talk about their upcoming trip to Cape Cod also today. They're going to one of our favorite haunts, Provincetown, the last town on the tip of beautiful Cape Cod. We shared some of our special spots and ideas, and wished we were going too. It was an evening of laughs and good food if I do say so myself, being the cook :).

For The Record,
This day came in overcast, humid with patchy sun. Showers on the way.
