the one that ran away

Today's photo is brought to you courtesy of Owen. As is the title. This was the lone duck, the one by itself away from the crowd.


We went down to the bird hide on the estuary hoping to get a good snap, unfortunately I know have camera/lens envy because everything was so far away. On the way back there was a HUGE heron in the river. By the time we'd got close enough it had flown away. So the ducks were a consolation prize.

And on another note - Owen has taken part in the final of the talent show at school. He reached the top 12 in the whole school.
