Hang in there!

This morning dawned chilly and with a brisk wind! As the sun poked through the clouds, the temperature climbed some, although quite cool for this time of the year. The wind has yet to subside...bracts of leaves can be seen blowing off the trees. With the chill in the air and the leaves falling, it almost feels like autumn.

As I was outside walking about this afternoon, I saw a green dragonfly hovering, then landing on an old stalk. He sat there, allowing me to photograph him. I am not sure I have seen a green dargonfly around before! Anyway, the fellow was hanging on for dear life while his wings flapped about in the breezes!
