Small Tortoiseshell

I blipped the first brood earlier in the year. This one is feeding on thistle nectar and taking in the sun.

I couldn't get the Ringlet to play nice and the Large Whites were more interested in the field of brassicas.

The weather was on and off too, I watered the allotment at lunch-time and then it rained!

Mel was down building his shed. No sign of the fox cubs.
