True Grit

I had planned tonight to take a photo of all my visitors, but I got so caught up in cooking for them all and hearing all of the hilarious stories they came out with that I completely forgot! However, the picture is still relevant to why they were here.

Robert, John, Euan and James have spent the last month walking from Edinburgh to London, to raise money for a fantastic charity called 500 Miles and they finished today with a trip on the London Eye and then dinner and a well deserved rest at mine.

I can't put it better than they did on their JustGiving page:

"Support amputees and disabled people in Malawia and Zambia by sponsoring four charming chaps to hike it from Edinburgh to London(That's about 500 Miles, clever eh?)
Throughout June; Euan Kidston, John Starr, Robert Starr and James McIntosh shall be walking a wopping 500(ish)miles from Edinburgh to London to raise funds for 500 miles. 500 Miles helps disabled people and amputees in Zambia and Malawi walk again by providing them with prosthetic limbs.

The money in the picture is the retiring collection from church on Sunday, where we contributed over £150 to their grand total. If you are feeling particularly generous, the link is above. They went through a lot of pain and suffering for an excellent cause, and it's an amazing thing for four students to do on their summer holiday.
