Thunderclouds

This evening we had rain for the first time in many months. It lasted only about 10 minutes. Then later there was a brief hail storm. As the sun was setting I took this shot and just to my left I missed a lightening bolt. Thunder in the distance and the amazing smell of rain in the desert. There are more than 24 fires in New Mexico and thousands of acres are burning. We need moch more of this rain. Some moron lit fireworks in the bosque and started a fire at Tingley Beach. Luckily it was extinguished right away. Independence day will mean more fireworks and probably more morons.
