Grandson and Droid

This is the shadow of my grandson, Derek. He's nine and he is playing a "ghostfinder" app on his mother's Droid. My daughter, Dereka dn his brother, Evan, return to Connecticut tomorrow, so that will be a sad day for me.

The Shadow theme has been very difficult. Not only is it less dramatic than the forks series, it is far less colorful than the drinks series.

Further, the huge forest fire in Holly Shelter Game Preserve that's been going on for about a month has muted the sunlight so there are almost no shadows outside at all. The fire might last all summer and has engulfed more than 30,000 acres already. If I continue with the shadow series, most of it will have to be artificial light shots.
