Pipes and Drums

Had a quick dash from my desk down to the Royal Mile to see the parade celebrating the opening of the new session of the Scottish Parliament. Looked like a fun parade, but I didn't hang around for long, deadlines and all that. These guys were pretty good at playing off one another.

In music news the quietus released a list of their best albums of the year so far. They're a contrary bunch and a lot of their selections I've either never heard of or wouldn't want to hear, it's still an excellent website. My favs of the year so far? A toss up between *AR, Josh T Pearson and The Motion Sickness of Time Travel. Here's some Josh.
