Henley

Well what a great day , perfect weather a first experience of the Henley Royal Regatta - it was another world ! Old traditions still very strong but such an interesting day - people watching was fab!
Surrounded by very tall men wherever you walked and wearing strange combinations of patterns and colour schemes - they were definitely the 'peacocks' today strutting their stuff in their rowing club blazers. The ladies and hats were eye catchers too and the 'skirt police' were on duty in the enclosure to ensure no knees were visible!
Being so close to the rowing particularly at the start near Temple Island was great and having Pimms with a picnic lumch and 'high tea' was delicious :)
Now for the next exciting installment - Take That - oh yes!!
