Dog Rose

A day spend at home as work was being done on our security system which also meant the alarm had to be tested at regular intervals. Definitely not conducive to making art!!!
I'm not sure where I picked up this rose, probably at one of our garden visits. It has grown to an impressive size and has spectacular thorns but these dainty flowers make up for all that!
