Simple Flower

Was hoping to find some inspiration walking around the apartment complex. I was also hoping to see another hummingbird to test how well my camera could capture it at 1/4000 sec. But I got some decent flower pics, including this one. I am still experimenting with my 50mm F/1.8 and learning how to deal with such a fast lens. I loved how sharp this one was, especially the shoot off the the bottom right. I'm not sure if I'm gonna do a full 365, but I'll try and post here as often as possible. =)
