Abstract Sunday

A wander around the village, chatting to friends in the street and shop and taking a few photos. This evening we hope to barbecue our first sweet corn in the garden, but it's too hot to eat outside at midday.

The texture is quite nice in LARGE

Taken with my manual 50 mm lens, aperture f 5.6. I'm sure the camera doesn't record the speed properly when I use this lens as it often shows 1/8000 s - it was bright and fast, but not that fast.
