Change of plan!

It was a lovely day down here on the south coast so my son and I decided to cycle down to the beach and then all along the front as far as we could go. He had been a few weeks ago and gone as far as Bournemouth but today we were going to try Hengistbury Head. Anyway we got to the beach at Sandbanks and there was a sign up saying no cycling between 10am-6pm July and August - bugger!

After a lovely Purbeck ice cream we decided to cycle to Poole around the harbour and this is where this photo was taken overlooking Brownsea Island across Poole Harbour.

So not quite the ride we planned but still a good few hours out on our bikes catching the sun and getting some exercise.
