Open day at the allotments

As part of Malden Fortnight, (see yesterday's blip) the Beverley Park Allotment Association has an open day. Put my name down on the waiting list today - my dream is to produce my own asparagus, and things that are harder to find in the shops than onions, potatoes and carrots! Hopefully will get a half- or a quarter-plot before I reach 50!
