Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium)

This plant probably came to this country from the Continent for its medicinal uses rather than as a garden plant about 400 years ago. It is mainly known for its herbal treatment of migraine. In the garden it spreads like a weed, but it has behaved itself so far in ours!

Busy day today - T working flat out with making haylage, the contractor came to wrap the bales in black plastic. Unfortunately as they were on a slope they started to roll slowly down the field so N had to rush over with the Manitou to stop them! In the afternoon old friends turned up for a cup of tea and we did a lot of catching-up which was lovely. Showed them the Herefords and the view before they left. It was a beautiful evening.
