Independence Day

Happy fourth of July! Celebrating 235 years since the birth of America. We are such a young nation...it's hard to fathom. We certainly have our issues, but I'm proud to be an American. I'm proud that both of my grandfathers served in World War II. Days like these remind me of how important their sacrifices and the service of so many men and women have been to our country overall.

"My grandfather would have been eighty today
But in '45 he fell down beside an American child.
