Oh and a rant, some eejit from Fife Council came round yesterday and put a card through the door asking me to call her to discuss my request for a larger landfill waste bin. (We already had one but they changed round all the bin colours and what went where etc etc a few weeks ago, too complicated to explain...) Anyway we went from having an extra large bin for landfill to a really small one which is a bit of a struggle and yes we do recycle as much as possible, have a compost bin blah blah blah. So I finally spoke to her after leaving messages and her not ringing me back, she is coming to the house to see evidence of the number of residents in our house! I told her they did this a couple of years ago when we got our big bin and was it not a waste of resources her coming round yesterday without checking anyone would be in nevermind coming to check something they had already checked a couple of years ago. But she can't find it on file so it is indeed very important that she comes round to collate evidence for our application. Collate evidence!! There's not been a murder!!
When I originally phoned a few weeks ago they told me there was no problem and yes a bin would be delivered within 5 working days, no bin appeared but an application form did which I sent back and now they are coming to visit!

Fife Council has no money, well it could save a few quid on salaries for this lot for starters!
