Cast on, cast off

Not a knitting instruction but my lovely sister Sarah, before & after her cast was removed this morning. She had a bone in the thumb joint trimmed a couple of weeks ago (osteoarthritis) and we were able to drive her to the plaster clinic this morning. Now I am making prawn & courgette curry for this evening's dinner - and Mr T will be making margaritas!
