Disjointed

A disjointed day where a jarring tv show script just made the day pointy elbowed and way too much of an annoyance - "the Batu caves outside Kuala Lumpur are a Mecca for Hindus". This prompted a few friends to proffer alternative suggestions - thanks to SB for "Optimus Prime is a Mecha for young boys" and to RK for "Mecca is the Vatican for Muslims".

Perhaps I should start collecting this sort of saying. Feel free to add your own.

Tonight will be spent watching the Germany-France game in the Women's World cup (thanks to my inability to read a newspaper correctly I have just seen and enjoyed the English-Japan game. Shame for Karen Smith - expectations at these games are always so sky-high.)

Today's song is from Namak Halaal and is one of the best Sari-In-The-Rain songs. I think.

Today's Blip is of a Mallow flower, again up close. I like the swooshy edges.
