city sailing

having not seen anything more than my computer, desk and colleagues all day today, and with grey skies rolling in, i started to fear that today's blip was going to be a challenge...destined for a pet picture or a random household object.

however, a couple hours of walking the dog after work around my neighbourhood resulted in this quick snap. i've actually never before walked along to the marina/boat club and it was lovely to watch kids heading out in these wee sail boats (toppers? i don't know?) out into the Firth of Forth. i want to learn!

i watched the rain clouds moving along the forth and did get a bit soggy when they caught up, but otherwise it was a lovely walk and good to get some fresh air. exit interview from work today and less than a month left now, woohoo!
