Ardmair sunset

So, today was a bit eventful for the early part of a holiday - we had to take Brrenda to Bongo into Kwik-Fit in Inverness for a quick check over one of her tyres - she was losing air. Thankfully it was just corrosion of her alloys, which the nice young man brushed off while we waited.

And then onwards through the Highlands towards Ullapool, and eventually to Ardmair, our base for a couple of nights. And what nights - the sun hardly set at night, Brrenda had her nose poking out to sea, seals swam past her nose, all manner of birds pecked around on the seashore. We could hardly believe it was real. This photo was taken at about 11.30pm looking south-westwards, with no colour added to it. Just beautiful, and peaceful, and lovely.
