Beautiful Weather in Bellingham

I had a great time painting today. It has been a very long time, since before we left for Europe on May 18th. I was just too busy working on the photos I took while in Europe. Today I went to Open Studio and began my painting for the October Art Walk show at Studio UFO called "Skin." It's about body art. I'm doing a portrait of a young woman I know from Salem, Oregon. I worked on the thumb nail drawing, painted the under painting of gold and red gesso and began to paint. I think I'm going to like this one. I arrived early at the studio and took a short walk around town taking photos before we began working. It was a gorgeous day in Bellingham.
