Something Was Born Today

Ryan tippy-toed out to the mockingbird nest and peeked inside it. (He is tall enough to see, I am not.)

He said two eggs had just hatched, and the other two were still in the shell.

Of course I sent him back with the camera. He grabbed a shot for me even though the mother bird was NOT PLEASED.

Well at least someone else is getting dive-bombed now, not just me! I was getting a complex.

He said the newborn birds look like little fluffy blobs.
