Eleven Pipers Piping

Inverness was really busy tonight! Bands playing in the streets, crowds of foreigners visitors watching and taking pictures. Decent atmosphere for the week of the Scottish Open. A pipe band wandered the streets going in and out of every bar and restaurant on the way - the restaurants all seemed really busy.

As I stopped to watch the pipe band at one point, an elderly local woman stopped to chat...

Her: They'll all be going to St Andrews tomorrow for the golf.
Me: Castle Stuart?
Her: Yes, are you going?
Me: Yes, at the weekend.
Her: Do you play golf?
Me: A little.
Her: Tiger won't be there - broken his knee ligament and his ankle ligament.
Me: I know, it's a shame.
Her [noticing police talking to a shaved-head man nearby]: Look, yobs causing trouble again - full of drink and drugs and... ...other things, no doubt.

Who knows what she meant.
