Here's where it all started

This looks like it's just a boring picture of a wall of an English stately home. But you could say that it's actually a picture of where photography first began in the 1830s.

We went to Lacock Abbey today. This is where Fox Talbot took his very first photographs, and there's a great museum next door that shows what he did and how he did it. You can see these images from 170 years ago and it's really quite amazing.

But goodness me, what a lot of faff taking photographs was in those days.
