Crepuscular Suburb, South Dublin

Clouds tugged me out again, a bulging bridge of grey-pink trailing across roofs and trees. I wanted a different background, so, as before, I drove, this time to the obelisk (and suburb) about a mile away, then over to Dún Laoghaire, though it was too dark by that stage. I don't often shoot into the sun, but this time I tried it, and I think I caught something of it, the way sunset can alter the ubiquitous suburban skyline. The Z-shaped cloud made it for me.

Also took this shot of the OBELISK

A round trip of about an hour and a quarter. Not long out of the car, maybe 10 minutes at a time, but my fingers were stiff with cold when I reached home.
