Tractor

This chap was having a great time today, out on the main road out of town and holding up traffic. This blip was taken shortly before we overtook him, for the previous 5 minutes the road markings said we weren't allowed to. He seemed to enjoy that and went slower. Or perhaps that's how it seemed to me.

We finished A.1.1 in Schule tonight. That's only taken us 43 lessons or 129 hours of class work. "Us" is a bit of a moot word here - there were 9 of us in the class tonight (and one went home before the tests), so 12 people have not made the test and when they rejoin the class, they'll be even further behind. Poor them.

The grades for German tests are quite interesting, they go sehr gut (very good), gut (good), befriedigend (satisfactory), ausreichend (adequate or fair) and teilgenommen (took part). I like that teilgenommen one a lot. It's so polite.
