The Barfing Cow

Every time I go to Frankfurt I blip this cow and until now it's always been an also ran. However, today the sun was shining and the cow had it's water turned on. There's something about it that I just like. Other people on the Platz were photographing the statue above this or the Great Big Statue of Goethe or the Commerzbank tower, but I, inevitably, am struck by smaller details in a big picture.

Frankfurt was good fun as always. A walk down the Really Expensive Shopping Street (Goethestraße has Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tiffany, Giorgio Armani, Vertu und Bulgari and they're not empty), we also went back to Manufactum for some of the really awesome bread that they bake and a bit of a snackerel in the cafe (i had a really nice orange juice drink thing - Fentimans Mandarin And Seville Orange - and a very tasty little cake thing).

We took a walk down the Main as well and found it's been turned into a fan park for the Women's World Cup. There are a few big screens, a good number of bars and it has a lot of family oriented things. As usual it attracts a few of the rip off merchants (what is a World Cup Cheese Burger? and why is it 6 euro?). Hope they have a great night.

I bought myself a book as well - German Grammar Drills. I don't know how I contain all this excitement.
