Early bird...........

So, up at 7am (unheard of on a Sunday for us) and down to the kitchen to check on our little furry lodger. He was bright eyed and busy tailed (unlike me) and ready for today's adventure. Another walk was planned , down by the Manchester Ship Canal, which runs right past our house. We walked along the Trans Pennine Trail , which is perfect for a mooch about. The sun was out , the birds were in full song , and only us three on the track, just perfect. We stopped at the marina to have a short rest , and managed to get a glimpse of the swan, and her cygnets . We are going to miss our little furry lodger when he goes home, it's been a great weekend.
