Dad

Dad and I went to pick blueberries today. It was a great day hot/humid but a nice gentle breeze. My dad is 76 yrs old and loves to be outside and if there is food involved it makes it all that much better, LOL!! I am fortunate that both my parents are still living. We built an in-law apartment attached to our house for them so we get to see them every day. It is hard watching my parents get old but I just keep thinking how lucky I am to be able to spend these days with them. When my dad is gone it will be sad to pick berries by myself but I will cherish these time while I have them.
