Stooping to New Levels

One of my favourite things about Canada so far is the ubiquitous stoop.

Pretty much every house in every neighbourhood has some kind of covered porch at the front of the house - complete with chairs and even tables too.
It's a really refreshing use of the front space of the house, the trend in England being to have a pristine front garden that looks great but is never used.
I love to people watch so these things are a dream for me, Leah's coming complete with a table and chairs so we can even eat there.


[iLeah also hosted an open mic night this evening that will now be a weekly event. It was a resounding success, and Lucy was left truly mesmerized by the amount of genuinely talented musicians on show.][/i]
