Meet Figaro the Kat

We lost Chester the Dawg recently after 14 years so Figaro (named by Number One Grandson) is now "sole owner"of the property.

He came to us via the back of next door's dustbin just before Christmas 2009. All of four inches in length at the time, he was sheltering from the storm and prepared to fight the world. Having recently had our previous cat run over, we had agreed not to have another....

So naturally, Figaro stayed with us through that winter until about the end of March, but then he suddenly disappeared. I jokingly said "Don't worry, he'll be back when the weather gets cold again in October"

Sure enough,I walked into the conservatory one morning about the middle of October last year, and there he was, laid out in his favourite chair and loudly demanding his breakfast.

He's been with us ever since...

and as I said - he owns the property - Sheila feeds him and I just pay the bills.
