Elephants ...

... in the house!

Walked downstairs this morning and saw this sitting on the mat at the open door basking in the sunshine.

Never ever seen anything like it, but figured out it's an Elephant Hawk-Moth and is apparently quite common!

Sorry it's not on something a bit more natural, however between getting the camera, making sure Bill didn't go for it and then taking the shot I had my hands full - and then he flew away :(
