The Seagulls Groyne

Dymchurch beach 6:45 a.m, and a really glorious morning too.
 
I wanted to find out more information about the groynes on the beach.  I know they are there to help prevent coastal erosion, however I was unprepared for this info:
 
groynes: plural of groin (Noun)

1. The area between the abdomen and the thigh on either side of the body.
2. The region of the genitals
