Orchid

I'm loving playing about with my new camera. I'm amazed at the clarity of the images compared to my old Sony. There's so much to learn though. The journey has just begun......

This is my first close up with the DSLR. My wife got this orchid as a present last year and it's had flowers on it constantly with the exception of around 2 weeks in winter. I love the colour and also the fact that we've managed to keep it alive for so long!
