Thanks to earthdreamery for his magic!! What a beautiful day - warm, sunny, clear and at first cloudless - by midday strange and impressive clouds were rolling over the mountains. The hedgerows are also looking amazing, chockablock full of colour and wonderful plants.

A lazyish day but we've just had friends round for supper - ratatouille, garlic bread and a huge garden salad, followed by strawberry and gooseberry compote, ice cream and shortbread biscuits. Very delicious. We ate in the conservatory, warm enough to keep the doors open and the moon is nearly full.
