A Suffolk Eye

The world's most banjaxed glasses?

My optician seemed to think so.

The frame is bust, one lens (more or less) held in with sellotape, the glue that held one earpiece on for - ooooh - months has suddenly stopped working, and if i want to look through them I have to hold them up like a pair of lorgnettes. This means that the lenses are covered with thumbprints.

The string of beads which is supposed to hold them round my neck is now used to tie the whole contraption round my head when I need to use both hands.

The optician said, "So lets see how well can you see through your reading glasses, then" took one look, and said "Not at all."

Hey mate - those are my good reading glasses.

Wicked waste makes woeful want
