Inchmahome Priory

beautiful Scottish sunny day and no where better to enjoy it than north of Stirling.

This is the view from the jetty while waiting on the small boat which takes you to Inchmahome Priory.

The Island (centre of the photo behind the swan) is where the Priory stands, it sounds that it wast much of a life for the cannons (monks) who lived there, up at 2:30am for prayers, many more prayers and work to do during the day before going to bed at 6:30pm. Not sure its a life style I would enjoy, mind you those monks are known for brewing some serious alcohol aren't they?
