Wild urban flowers

Traffic light on the way home.
There's a central reservation that's absolutely covered in these flowers.
Makes a nice change from a sea of dandelions.

While on the subject of dandelions...
Scientists should deconstruct the dandelion seed and work out how it is so profligate and resilient. Then they should build that into crops.

I reckon dandelions would flourish in even the worst drought since they seem to be just about able to seed themselves in solid concrete.
